Assignment 1: Getting a 8.5" X 11" Sketchbook

 Your first assignment will be to get a 8.5" X 11" hardcover sketchbook. Your sketchbook will be where you do your sketch assignments prior to projects, do now assignments, and will be graded throughout the year. The cover must have your first and last name and class period clearly labeled. Each page must be dated and labeled appropriately based on assignments. 

Assignment 2: Creating a Portfolio

You will be creating a portfolio in class that will hold your sketchbook and all of your artwork. Using a portfolio is just a way for artists to stay organized because you may know already, we tend to loose track of things very easily!!! 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • One side of the portfolio must be filled entirely & creatively 
  • Your name must be visible and incorporated into the design
  • Your designs need to be outlined and/or colored in 
    • ​If you are coloring the designs, you must color neatly
