PROJECT DAYS:

OCTOBER 23rd:

OCTOBER 30th:

-   Go over project details
                                       -   Project based off of a book or movie 
                                  -   Illustration shown from a                                           different character's perspective 
-   Begin finding reference photos 
-   Begin sketching out ideas of what needs to be included within the composition
to help narrate the story
-  Projects can be done traditionally OR digitally 
 ** Sketches need to be completed
for OCTOBER 30TH's meeting  **
-  Choose Bristol or Watercolor paper for your final         project 
          -   Consider the size and the layout 
-   Transfer your sketch idea onto the final paper
           -  light box .      -  graphite paper      -  redraw 
-  Outline illustration with Sharpie
        - Line variances (thick, thin, tappered, bold, etc) 
- Go over crosshatching & stippling techniques
** Projects to be completed

    What We Do

    N.A.H.S aims to develop an interest and passion for the arts, and to further its educational role in the lives of both students and our community. We believe that Art should be created with a purpose and therefore should be used to elevate the lives of our students as well as the community around us. We plan to use our talents and skills to give back to the world around us. 

    When We Meet 

    we meet on Wednesdays after school in room 106.  Students will take the 3:30 bus home. For more information please speak to a NAHS member or Mrs. Mendola.
    Mrs. Mendola can be found in room 263 for period 1, room 157 periods 4 & 8, or room 106 period 6 & 9
